The Year 7s enjoyed a fantastic day at the Silverstone Interactive Museum. The trip encompassed all of the STEM subjects and included a fascinating and engaging talk on the development of Formula 1, the safety features, car design, clothing design, materials, car and the associated technology. The pupils were able to take a spin on the track, the Scalextric scale model, of the world-famous Silverstone track, sit behind the wheel in the simulator, and race around the track. They were also able to enjoy the extensive exhibition of all things F1, bringing to life the project that we enjoy here at school.
