Year 7 Team Building Day at Grafham Water
Year 7 enjoyed an exciting team building day at Grafham Water Centre last week along with their Year 7 Form Tutors.
Working in small groups, pupils had sessions with instructors where they were taught how to sail, learning key sailing terms and then applying these on the water. Pupils were then separated into smaller groups where they took part in canoeing. As part of this activity, groups played games where they had to work together to manoeuvre the canoes.
The weather conditions were marvellous with sunny spells and calm waters making it a great day for team working and forging new friendships.
Staff were very proud to see pupils take themselves out of their comfort zone and try new activities. A fabulous day was had by all, and all the pupils agreed, it was a great way to start the year.
