Last Monday night, the Assembly Hall was a hive of activity for the Annual Parent and Child Design Technology Challenge. Parents and children from Year 5 received their brief, to design and create their own launching mechanism. It was a tense hour filled with designing and building, followed by the all important testing stage. An impressive mix of ingenious designs were on display, some successful… some not quite so… but a great deal of fun was had by everyone.
It was so lovely to see the teams working together and having fun fulfilling the challenge. A massive thank you must go to the staff for organising and running the evening, inspiring everyone to get creative. We wait in anticipation to see what next year’s challenge will bring.
