Earlier this week, Year 5 visited the Stained Glass museum in Ely, where they learnt how stained glass was made in Medieval times, with the help of Theophilus the monk. Pupils took part in a series of workshops throughout the day, exploring the museum and discovering the windows through a portrait trail, designing their own heraldic shields, and making their own piece of fused glass. Everyone enjoyed making new discoveries and being creative during the very informative day!
