This term, Years 5 & 6 delivered a vibrant and polished production of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, showcasing the tremendous talent, teamwork, and creativity of our pupils. Performed in our on-site Sports and Cultural Centre, to an enthusiastic audience, the evening performance highlighted weeks of dedicated rehearsals and a strong collaborative spirit across the year groups.
The production featured all of the pupils in Years 5 & 6 in colourful, characterful costumes, bringing the story to life with energy and confidence. Year 6 pupils took on the principal roles, demonstrating impressive stage presence, musicality, and maturity in their performances. They were supported by Year 5, who formed the chorus and contributed significantly to the atmosphere through ensemble singing, movement, and dramatic storytelling.
The production was accompanied by a professional group of instrumentalists, whose live music enhanced the narrative and supported the pupils with warmth and precision. Their involvement lifted the performance and provided pupils with the valuable experience of working alongside professional musicians.
