The sun was shining on Year 4 as we set off to visit West Stow Anglo-Saxon Village at the start of Activity Week. Inside the museum, the children explored a wide range of artefacts to find out more about the daily life of the Anglo-Saxons. They also had a wonderful time exploring the reconstructed village, seeking out runes as they went. We were even given exclusive access to the construction site of a Bronze Age roundhouse too – a real bonus. It was a wonderful day in the Suffolk countryside.
