Year 4 Trip to the Museum of Zoology

Nov, 2025 | News

The weather was kind to us on our Year 4 trip to the Museum of Zoology. Side-stepping puddles en route, we arrived at the museum with much anticipation. The children honed their observational skills by looking at the huge fin whale in the foyer to decide whether it was real or not (it is!). Looking at the exhibits in the gallery, they then found out many amazing facts about vertebrates and invertebrates, observing the features of their skeletons and shells and even handling different animal skulls including a turtle and badger skull. There were many impressive detectives among us! There was great team work in our skeleton making activity in the afternoon too. It was a busy day of fun and fascination.
