On Wednesday 16th March 2022, Mr. Dely organised and lead a Ceilidh for Year 4. Junior children danced the Dashing White Sergeant and the White Siren. Mr. Dely wore a tartan kilt in his family tartan with a sporran. Staff and pupils were also treated to a very special “Little Tea” including traditional Scottish Tunnock’s Tea Cakes (chocolate, biscuit and marshmallow) with Irn Bru (sugar free!) which is actually the most famous Scottish soft drink. Staff and pupils all had a great time and loved the dancing. Some of the routines were quite complicated but after some practice, everyone soon got the hang of it! The Junior children said they really enjoyed the Ceilidh and wanted to give a big thank you to Mr. Dely for organising such a fun-filled event.
