On Tuesday, Year 1 eagerly pulled on their wellington boots and set off on an outdoor adventure! Inspired by our new topic, ‘Let’s Get Growing!’ and led by Mr Andrews, we each chose an animal moniker and learnt the special Forest School song. Following our exploration of Mrs Day’s garden, we worked in pairs to gather natural resources and build our own minibeast hotels. One lucky group was even visited by a snail who chose to relax on their sofa! We finished the day by admiring each other’s creations and discussing the different designs. A wonderful afternoon was had by all – we are already looking forward to the next exciting session!
