The Year 8 Basketball Team attended the Under 13 IAPS Basketball Tournament at Sevenoaks School on Saturday 15 March. This was particularly special for us as it was the first time a King’s team had played representative basketball of any kind. In the pool games King’s lost their first game narrowly, but went on to win two more pool games with ease. After then losing by 2 points to the defending champions Lochninver House, King’s qualified for the semi finals of the Championship and were drawn against the The Hall School. The boys put in a strong performance, but were beaten 13-6 to the eventual winners. Many congratulations to all of the boys for securing third place and the Bronze medal. You have represented your school with great pride.
