Under 12 Regional Hockey Tournament
Having won the County Cup, the U12 Boys’ Hockey team automatically qualified for the Regional Finals. The tournament took place in Ipswich, hosting the12 best school teams in East Anglia. We won all 5 of our pool games, taking us through to the semi-finals, playing the second placed team in the second pool, Bishops Stortford College, the side we had played and lost twice to during the course of the season. We won comfortably, 1-0, taking us through to the finals to play Coopers’ Coburn, from Middlesex. After a tense but fantastically mature and brave game… we won, 2-0! The King’s Under 12 boys are now regional champions. Congratulations to all of the boys who were in the squad for the hockey season. We are so proud of all you have achieved.
