The children of Reception enjoyed a trip to King’s College Chapel on Tuesday. They were given a bespoke tour by the Chaplain, The Revd Dr Mary Kells, and learnt lots about the Chapel’s history. They also took the time to lie on the floor and look up at the spectacular vaulted ceiling, admired the impressive stained-glass windows and completed a ‘Chapel Challenge’, searching for some of the Chapel’s interesting features, such as the altar, lectern and the Fleur de Lys. A truly magical experience for our youngest pupils!
