We are delighted to announce the official opening of our newly refurbished on-site astro pitch. This exciting development marks a significant investment in sport at King’s and will greatly increase opportunities for pupils to take part in sports, particularly hockey and football.
The enhanced surface provides an excellent environment for pupils to develop their skills in a high-quality setting, and enjoy an improved experience during matches and practices.
We were especially pleased that our girls’ football club were the first to take to the new astro yesterday. They were quick to praise the impressive speed and quality of the surface, which promises to support high-level play and skill development.
Many thanks to the generous donors and to the KCA for making this project possible. We look forward to seeing many more pupils make the most of this fantastic new facility in the heart of the school.
