It was Drama Week recently in the Junior Department. This was an immersive and creative experience that included set painting, creating props and programmes, as well as numerous rehearsals leading up to the final performance at the end of the week. The theme for this year’s Junior Production was A Journey Around Our World, and the children performed five different plays based on legends from across the globe. Year 3 performed Stone Soup and Anansi and the Pot of Wisdom, while Year 4 performed The Great Race, Aesop’s Fables, and Ali Baba and the Year 4 Thieves. The children worked incredibly hard on their plays and should be very proud of their wonderful performances.
