Thank you to the King’s Community Association (KCA) for organising the Foodbank Winter Collection this term. Instead of raising money through the traditional Christmas Fair raffle, pupils from each year group donated specific items to support the Cambridge City Foodbank and its winter appeal.
The school office was overwhelmed by the generosity shown, with an impressive collection of much-needed items. Donations included boxes of Christmas biscuits and chocolates, savoury snacks, tea bags, tinned vegetables, soup, rice pudding, custard, and instant coffee.
We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to our parents and pupils for their incredible support. It was particularly lovely to see how many pupils took pride in selecting their donations themselves, helping to make a real difference to those in need within our local community.
