Our Year 8 pupils researched Black Artists during Black History Month and went on to create these amazing screen prints. The process involved creating a background for the print which echoed the style or character of the artists own work, drawing the portrait and making a stencil of their chosen artist, and then finally screen printing or spray painting using the stencil onto the background.
The results were fantastic and pupils of all years have enjoyed viewing these works.
