This is the second year that King’s families have kindly donated seasonal food items to create 35 Christmas Hampers which will be distributed through Buchan Street Neighbourhood Centre to families in need. In partnership with Cambridge Sustainable Food, each family should receive one of our hampers, fresh produce and board games this Christmas. Through this scheme, 500 hampers will be collected and distributed locally this Christmas through the Foodbank. Our Year 7’s spent most of the morning packing, wrapping and sorting hampers which were kindly taken by a King’s parent to Buchan Street Neighbourhood Centre.
