Last Monday night, the Sport and Cultural Centre (SCC) was a hive of activity, with many parents and children from Year 5 designing and creating their own launching mechanism. It was a tension filled hour of designing and building, followed by the all important testing stage. An impressive mix of ingenious designs were on display, some successful … some not quite so … but a great deal of fun was had by everyone.
It was so lovely to see the teams working together and having fun fulfilling the challenge. A massive thank you must go to the staff for organising and running the evening, once again inspiring everyone to get creative. We wait in anticipation to see what next year challenge will bring.
