The first full week of the term brought Year 4’s first trip of the year to the Fitzwilliam Museum, with a focus on their Ancient Greek History topic. The children were able to explore the Ancient Greek Gallery and learn so much about many of the items in the exhibition, thanks to the museum’s teachers, and the workbooks the children completed.
Year 4 also took part in a clay workshop with some of the museum artists, where the children were able to make their own Ancient Greek pot to take home (some of the teachers may have taken part in this activity as well!). The pupils had a super day and we will be sure to repeat the trip next year.
