Year 2 enjoyed a busy and exciting day out at Woburn Safari Park on Thursday. The children were able to see a variety of animals and endangered species in their own habitat and across the wide-open park reserves. The Woburn Rangers team gave pupils a series of fascinating talks and demonstrations of the conservation work they do across the park including a “foot safari” tour of the animals in their walk through enclosures.
Pupils were treated to up close encounters with lions, giraffes, sea creatures, lemurs and many more!
A fabulous trip was had by all and a huge thank you goes out to the Woburn Rangers team for all the insights about the animals that were shared on the trip.
