Year 2 had a fantastic visit to Wandlebury Country Park. They spent their time pond dipping and identifying different species, such as water boatman and newts. Afterwards, under the shelter of the trees, we carefully dug for mini-beasts and separated them according to the number of legs. Our third activity was finding fauna to create a beautiful dried-flower bookmark. The sunshine shone and there was lots of wildlife to see, the children were all enthusiastic and showed a great knowledge of habitats. We had a wonderful time!
