Year 2 had an ‘out of this world’ experience as they entered the StarDome planetarium on Monday. We looked at star constellations. observing satellites and were able to see close-ups of the planets in our Milky Way, ‘flying’ over the volcanos of Venus.
Special effects enabled us to see astronauts working inside the international Space station. Astronomer Andy Green was able to answer the numerous questions that the children thought of during their session.
What a stellar experience!
