On Tuesday we launched a new initiative in St Martin’s, designed to encourage a shared a love of reading and to foster an even greater sense of community. The children of 4CG all visited Pre-Prep and read to the children – many of them had brought in their favourite picture books from home to share with their younger friends.
It was a lovely occasion and all of the children involved, whether they were reading or listening, thoroughly enjoyed sharing the books. This will become a regular event, so that all of the children in Year 4 will have an opportunity to read to their Pre-Prep schoolmates.
