Last Friday night the children in Years 6, 7 and 8 took to the stage in front of a ‘live’ audience for the first time in 18 months! The Year 6 children performed the school’s version of ‘Matilda’ and the Year 7 and 8 pupils took us back to the 1930’s with their performance of Bugsy Malone.
All the children worked so hard during the Lent term, learning lines, dances, songs and how to use a splurge gun and all their hard work paid off on the night. Parents were able to come together, sit back and watch the delight on the children’s faces as they turned into revolting children, gangsters, and show girls.
We couldn’t have been prouder of their accomplishments and will remember the evening for a long time to come.
