Over 220 pupils from Y4 up to Y8 entered the Bebras Computational Thinking Challenge, an international computing challenge that thousands of young people take part in. We have had an unprecedented number of pupils getting Distinctions (top 25% of the country), and Gold awards (top 10% of the country).
All pupils in 7K and 8K achieved Distinctions, and those in Y7 and Y8 that got Gold awards (33 pupils) have been invited to take part in the Oxford Computing Competition in Lent term. Two students scored full marks, which is a very difficult achievement; Luke in Y8 and Ethan in Y6.
A fantastic acheivement and result to all those who entered. Very well done!
