King’s College School sent a team of 12 to the East Area Prep Schools Athletics competition on Friday 9 June. This was an opportunity to test out some of our top athletes and to experience competition in an International Stadium against strong opposition. On a very hot day our children represented the school with pride and put in great personal performances in their chosen events. Highlights were Henry C winning the U12 Boys 1500m leading from start to finish and Aodhan M jumping 4.61m in the U14 Boys long jump to be placed 2nd. Both boys have now qualified for the Nationals at Pingles stadium, Nuneaton on Monday 3 July. We wish them all the very best for this major event.
