Our Jubilee celebrations kicked off in earnest on Friday 27th May where, in the glorious sunshine, all the children congregated to plant the first of seven cherry blossom trees which will form part of our Platinum Jubilee garden. Brightly dressed in colours of red, white and blue, it was a very special moment as all the children joined together in a special assembly to commemorate the Platinum Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth.
Children and staff were then treated to a very festive Jubilee picnic lunch on Front Pitch, celebrating with friends after a busy and exciting first half of term.
To round up our celebrations, all children and staff received a Jubilee gift today including (amongst other items) commemorative books, a Jubilee bookmark, and a Jubilee badge.
