As part of their ‘Amazing Africa’ topic, Year 1 have been thinking of lots of questions that they would like to ask about what it is like to live in Africa. By the wonders of technology, on Thursday afternoon, all of Year 1 had a Zoom call with some children from King’s College School Budo in Uganda. The children were able to ask their questions and learn lots of interesting facts and stories about life in Africa first hand. It really was an incredibly memorable lesson for our pupils and we would like to extend an enormous thank you to the staff and children at King’s College School Budo for helping enrich the topic work of our Year 1 classes.
