Children (and staff!) in Pre-Prep and Juniors were transformed for World Book Day, coming to school dressed as characters from their favourite books! The creativity was abundant and there was much fun to be had as children shared with friends the books which mean so much to them.
Children took part in activities including designing their own front covers, writing character descriptions or alternative endings, or exploring books to enhance their topic work. Having worked collaboratively to create and decorate their ‘Classroom Door’ book, everyone was excited to see what the other forms had been working on and had the opportunity to visit other parts of the school that they may not have visited before! Break time was filled with much excitement and colour including wands, octopus legs, witches, dinosaurs, superheroes, princesses, hats, wigs, tights, cloaks and everything in between!
