'To promote visual awareness, practical skills and an appreciation of the art of the past and of other cultures'

Art is studied by all pupils in the school. Classes from Reception to Year 3 are taught by their class teachers.  Classes from Year 4 to Year 8 are taught by the joint Heads of Art (Renee Spierdijk and Kate Klinck) in a large dedicated art room.

There is an Art scholarship class for children who are selected to sit scholarships to their next school. Currently we run textiles, and art and craft activities, and an art extension club for years 5 and 6.
