Aims and objectives

Our  aims  are  to  develop  the  confidence  of  our  learners  in  the  use  of  the  language  in  all  communication  skills  for  inside  and  outside  the classroom:  a  good  accent, spontaneity  of  speech in  responding  to  or  asking  questions.

As  our  young  linguists  gradually  learn  to  work  more  independently, we  develop  their  reading  skill  in  order  to  incite  them  to  discover  the  culture  through  reading  material. In  giving  them  practice  in  the  listening  skill, we  also  encourage  them  to  inform  themselves  by  listening  to  or  watching  live  programmes  in  the  target  language.

We  also  help  them  through  the  study  of  practical  topics  to  develop  the  skill  of  writing  in  the  target  language  with  reasonable  accuracy. In  accordance  with  the  School  policy, we  attempt  to  provide  our  pupils  with  an  education  which  will  be  the  springboard  to  their  next  stage  of  studies  in  ML.
