Science
| Science is taught as an integral part of cross-curricular projects in Reception and Year 1 classes.
In Year 2 children have time-tabled Science lessons and often use the Junior Science laboratory. The emphasis is not only on developing scientific knowledge but on increasing vocabulary, encouraging questioning, prediction and hypothesis. The children engage in a variety of practical activities and experiments to find out how to observe and to understand. Science is Fun!

| As part of the body topic Year 1 play in the King's College Hospital. |
Year 1 children grew flowers and vegetables in their garden. Planting, tending and providing good conditions, they also measured growth....and sampled the fruits of their labour.
