Sri Lankan teachers arrive!
It was with much relief that Mr. Ashworth and I saw our three Sri Lankan teachers walk through Terminal 4 of Heathrow last night. They will be working in all departments at King's this week giving talks and lessons on Sri Lankan life, crafts, cookery and gardening. There will also be opportunities for pupils to ask questions and generally enjoy their company!
After a visit to a local church this morning, Nalinie, Malini and Nayana have been doing a cooking session in our kitchen in preparation for a cookery demonstration in pre-prep later in the week. We are pleased to be tasting string hoppers for tea tonight. Do come and have a chat if you see any of the ladies around school. They will be delighted to meet you.
